Recognizing the teachers who make the great things at our early learning centers possible
The first full week of May is recognized as Teacher Appreciation Week, and every year, we show our dedicated early educators how much we appreciate them!
Here are some of the ways our Centers acknowledged their hardworking teachers, with photos from our Lok Yuen, Generations, Cadillac, and New Generation Early Learning Centers.
Families at our Lok Yuen Early Learning Center, which serves 48 toddlers and preschoolers in Chinatown, were invited to participate in daily prompts, including:
- Bringing a flower (real or handmade) for their child’s teachers
- Writing a letter to share how the family and child are thankful for them
- Sharing a list of favorite things they have learned in class this year
- Drawing a picture for their teachers
In addition to a special Korean lunch and a delicious donut breakfast, the staff at Lok Yuen enjoys taking pictures so Center Manager Christina set up a photo booth with costumes. They all had a lot of fun!
